Ways To Prolong Your Laptop's Battery Life
Many of us laptop users we tend to disregard the importance of keeping our laptop battery in shape . The medium age for most batteries is 3 years max . So with that being said , here are some steps to preserve your battery lifetime longer :
The first tip is to not leave the laptop on charge for long time , as soon as its fully charged you may either remove the battery and keep the laptop charger plugged in . Or leave the battery in and unplug the charger .
giving the battery too much charging will eventually lead to its damage on the long term .
Another thing , is to never let the battery till it reaches 0 % in charge . Plug it back on electricity once it reached 10 % or so . If you use your laptop too often on electricity, once in two weeks charge the battery and leave it off use to rest dont use it for a while , this somewhat helps to keep its inner cells in good shape .
Try also turning off any running unnecessary programs , services , Those could be using too much RAM and Disk energy which will lead to cutting short the lifetime of your battery . Turn off Wifi if you dont need it and when you are done with it .
One Last important tip, when you leave your laptop on to go do something turn it to " Safe Mode " , that will help preserve your battery's lifetime .
That is all ! By doing all those steps your laptop's battery could be kept healthy for longer than usual .
